Domain Names This is an easy to understand, non technical book. It covers important information about domain name registration, trade names, how to choose a name, and trademarkes. The general simpilicity of this books makes it attractive. You can get a good overview of domain names from this book.
How the Internet Works This book introduces a myriad of technical terms in a easy way. It makes extensive use of pictures, and builds up a picture of the World Wide Web, the Internet, multimedia, spamming, e-mail, URL's, UP addresses, and other related topics. This book is an easy read, and also fun to read.
Philip and Alex's Guide to Web Publishing This book is now quite dated (from 1999), but it introduces servers, web hosting, databases, and other topics is a fun and entertaining way.
Advanced Internet Technologies

This book covers in general detail, the concepts behind Internet architecture, multimedia, routing, IP addresses, and protocols. This book is expensive, so you may want to consider a cheaper buy. This book is quite advanced, and I would recommend only to buy this book if you are knowledgeable of engineering and networking terms.
CISCO: A Beginner's Guide

This book introduces CISCO's products, networking terms, and CISCO certification. It is only an introduction, but since CISCO dominates the Internet market, this may be a good addition to your library. This book is mostly technical, and not for for the layman.
